Space Academy 2009 - Honeywell Corporation sponsors teachers from around the world to attend Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama. It was a great opportunity to learn about NASA educational programming and participate in astronaut simulations. Thanks Honeywell!
Zero Gravity - Thanks to Northrop Grumman's Weightless Flights of Discovery program, I flew on a zero gravity flight on September 29.
Polar Weekend at AMNH - February 7 and 8, 2009. I will be working with Ocean Leadership at their Polar booth.
NASA Endeavor Program 2009- One year graduate level STEM fellowship
EarthWatch - I participated in a research experience Climate Change at the Arctic's Edge, at the end of September. Dr. Peter Kershaw and Steven Mamet are studying changes in permafrost in Churchill, Manitoba. Here is the link to my blog

Yellowstone - With the Lunar and Planetary Institute and NASA scientists, I studied Earth's Extremophiles, found in the hot springs and geysers of Yellowstone. Here is some information about Roaring Mountain .
