This policy was discussed in class the week of Sept. 25. Students were asked to bring it home and have a parent read and sign the policy. It is summarized below:

Students have two additional class periods in which to turn in late homework, IF they have written me a note explaining what they did not understand about the homework or what caused them difficulty in completing the homework. They must also identify the person from whom they asked for help. This note must be given to me on the original due date. (Students must write an explanation--a "I didn't understand." does not qualify.) Late work must be turned no later than the day of the final assessment for the unit. Work more than two days late will only earn a 50%.
